The Humble Beginnings

I decided to start the season February first. Because of an early start, and lack of sunlight, my tomatoes became very scrawny last year. I hope to remedy this this summer with a little help of artificial light. Nelson Garden has a very handy little lamp kit (wait until there’s a sale if you want to feel thrifty). Together with the tomatoes I threw in some violets and pansies. Angel Tiger Eye is a particularly cool striped violet that I hope to succeed with.
