The Outdoor Shower – Finished

The outdoor shower has now been painted with three coats of black. In the future I want a greenhouse. The idea is to keep the shower inside the greenhouse, and whitewash the walls of the greenhouse for shadow and privacy. Inside the greenhouse I would also secure it properly to make sure it doesn’t tip over. Meanwhile, I enjoy having it mobile  and counterbalance the weight of the water with a bucket of gravel.

Below the shower is a stand of Common Soapwort or “Saponaria Officinalis”. Crushed leaves and roots have traditionally been used as detergent, soap and shampoo.
